Animal welfare payments

Support can be paid for specific commitments and practises which go beyond the existing standards and which have a direct effect in improving animal welfare. |
Enterprises in all production sectors except the following: the automotive, synthetic fibres, iron and steel, and coal industries and the fisheries sector, as well as the agricultural products listed in Annex I to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. Exclusions from the scope of coverage of the aid scheme include hazardous waste landed by international commercial vessels and cruise ships and hazardous waste produced by enterprises that cannot be located anywhere other than in the French Overseas Department in question.
