The purpose of this draft proposal is to modify Annex I to the Persistent organic pollutants (POP) Regulation as regards short-chain chlorinated paraffin (SCCP) by deleting the two remaining exemptions for the production, placing on the market and use of SCCPs in conveyor belts in the mining industry and in dam sealants.
