This involves achieving results in terms of access to clean cooking with renewable energy and to decentralised renewable electricity in households. The grant programme aims to do this by reducing commercial market constraints by providing a financial incentive to the private sector to mitigate temporary risks to market development in renewable energy in developing countries and reduce associated innovation costs.
