2.13. Myanmar's national development plans are anchored in and geared towards achieving the SDGs. Progress was made in regard to health, education, water and sanitation (...) As of December 2019, Myanmar has achieved 50 percent of nationwide electrification. The Government encourages renewable energy generation. The Government also seeks to achieve more progress in infrastructure development in the near future and welcomes the support of its international partners in helping it achieve its development goals and fulfil the SDGs by 2030, as outlined in the MSDP.
