The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (Inspection and Clearance of Imports) Regulations.

They contain provisions on commodities: to conform to compulsory standard specification, to be accompanied by a certificate of conformity or certificate of road worthiness, and not accompanied by a certificate of conformity or certificate of road worthiness. The Regulations also contain provisions on application for import clearance certificate, issuance of import clearance certificate, destination inspection, verification of shelf life of commodities prior to issue of import clearance certificate, release of commodities without import clearance certificate, commodities manufactured in East African Community Partner States, notice to destroy or re-export commodities, and release of commodities under seal.

This test method covers the determination of the content of chromium (including chromium oxide) in the range between 0.005 and 1.0% present in the solids of liquid coatings or in dried films obtained from previously coated substrates. There is no reason to believe that higher levels could not be determined by this test method, provided that appropriate dilutions and adjustments in specimen size and reagent quantities are made. The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
