Kuwaiti mandatory standard specifies requirements for Polypropylene Pipes for Cold and Hot Water use and its methods of test

The application of the regulation aims to improve the quality of the gasoline and diesel.

The Decision upgrades the emission standard for imported new two- and three-wheeled motorcycles from China Stage II to China Stage III. Values and test procedures from the Japanese standard published on 28 October 2010 have also been applied.

The Regulation tightens the vehicle tailpipe emission standards to be in line with Euro VI and publishes the On-board Diagnostics System Specifications

This Decision tightens the tailpipe emission standard for light gasoline vehicles from Euro IV-equivalent to Euro VI-equivalent. For diesel vehicles and heavy-duty compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles from Euro IV-equivalent to Euro V-equivalent, and publishes the On-board Diagnostics System (OBD) specifications.

This Decision continues the prohibition of import of used motor vehicles, used chassis, used engines and heavy passenger vehicles into Macao, China, subject to exceptions specified in the Decision.

This Decision replaces the regulation notified on 19 December 1996 under G/TBT/Notif96.449, which entered into force on 1 January 1974.

This Regulation requires unleaded gasoline and light diesel oil for vehicles, trading in the Macao SAR, to comply with the standards set out in it. Standards of the European Union and the People's Republic of China have been referenced for the parameters and limits.

This Administrative Regulation replaces the regulation notified on 9 March 2006 under G/TBT/N/MAC/1 , which entered into force on 23 April 2006.

The basic aim of the proposed regulation is to ensure the integrity of natural gas networks in order to operate safely and reliably.

The notified draft Mexican Official Standard applies to power plants that need to obtain variable values for fuel-free energy (ELC) determinations under the Efficiency and ELC Regulations when they use any of the following generation processes:
(a) Power plants with efficient cogeneration processes
(b) Clean power plants that use fossil fuels
(c) Low emission technologies and thermal power plants using carbon capture and geological storage or sequestration
(d) Power plants using hydrogen
(e) Hydro-electric power plants
The notified draft Mexican Official Standard will not apply to power plants that have a cogeneration permit and are accredited as efficient cogeneration under the Law on the Public Electric Power Service, provided that their legacy interconnection contracts remain in effect.

The notified draft Mexican Official Standard is applicable throughout Mexican territory and is binding on all persons responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance, closure and dismantling of centres that distribute or sell liquid petroleum gas in pressurized portable containers and pressurized transportable containers.

The specifications and provisions for the protection of the environment, established in the notified draft Mexican Official Standard, do not apply to projects for centres for the distribution or sale of liquid petroleum gas that are to be located in protected natural areas or areas with forest vegetation, forests, semi-arid vegetation, coastal or wetland ecosystems, areas with woodland, deserts, river or lagoon systems, or areas considered as havens or breeding grounds for migratory species, areas that provide a habitat for species that are under special protection, endangered, at risk of extinction or thought to be extinct in the wild, in accordance with Mexican Official Standard NOM-059-SEMARNAT-2010, or any Standard that amends or replaces it.

The notified draft Mexican Official Standard applies to facilities that handle open-source radioactive material. The standard does not apply to nuclear facilities. It establishes criteria for classifying facilities that handle open radioactive sources.
