The degradation of soil quality and soil environment has been a serious challenge in the field crop farming area (...) frequent emergence of soil pests through continuous cropping and natural disasters related to climate change have caused further disturbances of soil conservation.
Under these circumstances, supporting rural areas' environment-friendly efforts such as seeking a proper crop rotation balance and introducing pest-resistant varieties in order to improve soil quality, which will contribute to conserving soil environment and then achieving sustainable agriculture.
Eligible rural communities which fulfil requirements such as an increase in ratio of newly introduced green manure crops and/ or pest-resistant varieties in the field crop areas.
