Vehicles: For the imports of vehicles indicated below, the requirement by the Customs Authorities of a pro forma invoice certified by the Ministry of Industry and Technology or other organizations authorized by the Ministry (Technical visa) was removed. However, the approval of the Ministry of Industry and Technology or Turkish Standard Institution (TSI) authorized by the Ministry continues to be required for the importation of the vehicles below.

10 Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora: By virtue of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), CITES document issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is required for the importation and exportation of the species listed in the Foreign Trade Communiqué 2011/1.

This system for import licensing aims at protecting the environment from ozone-depleting substances to comply with the requirements of the Montreal Protocol on the substances that deplete the ozone layer.

Plant and Animal Species that are subject to the regulation by Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauan and Flora (CITES): Import of species of wild fauna and flora that are subject to the regulation by the Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) requires a permission. The Ministry for Protection of Environment and Natural Resources is responsible for permission issuance on importation of wild live animals and certain wild growing plants. For sturgeon species and products thereof only permissions for import are issued by the State Fisheries Agency.

The regulatory framework implements Ukraine's obligations under the Basel Convention for the Control of Trans-boundary Movements of Hazardous Waste and their Disposal (Basel Convention).
Hazardous waste listed in the schedules of the Basel Convention. Accordingly, "Yellow Waste List" and "Green Waste List" is also determined by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1120 of 13 July 2000; applies to all transboundary movements of hazardous and other wastes between countries that Parties to the Basel Convention.
