Conservation of native livestock and plant genetic resources: The purpose is to conserve and sustainably manage plant and native livestock genetic resources, including the native brown bee population. The genetic resources are of Danish origin or of value to Danish agriculture. This is among others to fulfil Danish obligations according to international agreements in the area (International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture and Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources). The Danish conservation work on native livestock is concentrated on breeds in risk of extinction, which are often kept by small-scale farmers.

Measure description Coverage of the measure
Conservation of native livestock and plant genetic resources: The purpose is to conserve and sustainably manage plant and native livestock genetic resources, including the native brown bee population. The genetic resources are of Danish origin or of value to Danish agriculture. This is among others to fulfil Danish obligations according to international agreements in the area (International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture and Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources). The Danish conservation work on native livestock is concentrated on breeds in risk of extinction, which are often kept by small-scale farmers.
Breeders, breeder associations, companies, producer associations, organizations, consultants, research or knowledge centres through a fixed amount per unit or through grants to approved documented expenses.

Companies active in the sectors of organic pigment, pectin and vitamin production, and registered in accordance with the VAT Law, qualify for a 70% refund of the tax paid

Compensation for land withdrawals and maintenance for constructed wetlands: The purpose of the support scheme is to provide compensation for land withdrawals and maintenance in relation to the implementation of constructed wetlands, which has the purpose to protect and improve the aquatic environment by reducing nitrogen and phosphorus leaching into the aquatic environment.
To applicants who has achieved a subsidy grant under the rural development scheme "grants for constructed wetlands", mostly producers.
