Advancing Renewables Program: The Advancing…
Advancing Renewables Program: The Advancing Renewables Program supports a broad range of development, demonstration and pre-commercial deployment projects that can deliver affordable and reliable renewable energy for Australian families and businesses. The Program Objective is to fund Activities that contribute to one or more of the following. Program Outcomes:
(a) reduction in the cost of renewable energy;
(b) increase in the value delivered by renewable energy;
(c) improvement in technology readiness and commercial readiness of Renewable Energy Technologies;
(d) reduction in or removal of barriers to renewable energy uptake:
(e) increased skills, capacity and knowledge relevant to Renewable Energy Technologies".

Measure description Coverage of the measure
Advancing Renewables Program: The Advancing Renewables Program supports a broad range of development, demonstration and pre-commercial deployment projects that can deliver affordable and reliable renewable energy for Australian families and businesses. The CMATSP also aimed to supplement and support the coal industry's own research activities to pilot innovative technologies to capture and mitigate methane emissions and to develop safe abatement practices.

The CMATSP was introduced in July 2011 as part of the Coal Sector Assistance Program (CSAP), and under the government's Clean Energy Future Plan.

Annual Fisheries Management Charges: partial waiver with two thirds of annual fees waived in 2019/20 and one third of annual fees waived in 2020/21.
Annual commercial fishing licence fees waived in 2020/21.
Annual commercial fishing boat licence fees waived in 2020/21.
