Environmental programmes: Programme for Sustainable Production in the Laguna del Sauce Basin, undertaken as part of the Development and Climate Change Adaptation Project (DACC-World Bank): economic support provided by the Directorate-General of Rural Development (DGDR) of the MGAP for the implementation of projects aimed at promoting sustainable management of agricultural production in the Laguna del Sauce Basin. The overall objective of the programme is to protect natural resources, in particular water quality in the Laguna del Sauce Basin. Its specific objectives are: (...) to promote measures to mitigate environmental impacts and ensure the sustainability of production in the Basin (...). Among the tangible actions to protect water quality, infrastructure was built to limit the export of nutrients to bodies of water, (...).

Environmental programmes: Family Livestock and Climate Change Programme (GFCC). The GFCC's objective is to help build the adaptive capacity and resilience of family livestock producers facing climate variability and change in the Sierras del Este and Basalto Superficial areas. The soil in these areas is shallow and extremely prone to drought and water scarcity. The GFCC focuses on three specific components or goals: (a) promoting climate change adaptation strategies at the individual or producer group level by partially funding investments made to improve the basic infrastructure required on farms to reduce production system sensitivity (infrastructure for accessing and distributing water, shade provision for livestock, and subdivisions to ensure proper grazing management, etc.); (b) strengthening organizational capacities and local networks to foster resilience, which involves promoting capacity development at the local level to address climate change concerns in the short, medium and long term, (...).

Measures exempt from the reduction commitment – Special and Differential Treatment – "Development Programmes": Investment subsidies generally available to agriculture: Associative Water Strategies for Production (EAAP), undertaken as part of the Development and Climate Change Adaptation Project (DACC-World Bank), which seeks to help rural producers to use natural resources in a sustainable way, enhancing their ability to adapt to climate variability and change. This programme offers financial support to facilitate multi-farm and/or associative irrigation programmes or projects to bolster the productive stability of beneficiaries and scale up the efficient use and management of water, ultimately reducing vulnerability to climate change. Measures exempt from the reduction commitment – Special and Differential Treatment – "Development Programmes": Investment subsidies generally available to agriculture: More Water for Rural Development Programme (MADR), undertaken as part of the Development and Climate Change Adaptation Project (DACC-World Bank), which seeks to help rural producers to use natural resources in a sustainable way, enhancing their ability to adapt to climate variability and change. Through this programme, non-reimbursable support is provided to offset the extraordinary costs of implementing projects for the supply and distribution of water on the farms of small, medium-sized and family farmers throughout the country, as well as technical assistance that contributes to a farm development project. In this way, it finances the costs of activities such as the construction of wells and ponds, and the cleaning and fencing off of waterholes, as well as water tanks, water distribution and irrigation systems, and investment related to the management of dairy effluents in priority watersheds.

Product-Specific Aggregate Measurements of Support: Other Product-Specific Support and Total Product-Specific AMS: Fruits and vegetables: Farm Development Fund: mainly subsidies for climate insurance and technical assistance.
