Decree 925 of 9 May 2013 sets out the provisions relating to applications for registration and import licensing.
Automatic licensing applies to all countries. The automatic licensing requirement (import registration) depends on whether the goods to be imported are subject to requirements, permits or prior authorizations on the part of other control (environmental, sanitary, phytosanitary, etc.) bodies. The processing of automatic licences does not restrict the quantity or value of imports. Its purpose is, essentially, to apply foreign trade policy, particularly the aspects relating to customs, as well as health, security and environmental protection controls.

Decree 925 of 9 May 2013 sets out the provisions relating to applications for registration and import licensing.
