On some protective measures against the Foot and Mouth Disease in Mongolia and Algeria

This Order of the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Management provide some protective measures against the outbreak of foot and mouth disease from the region of Khvod in Mongolia and the region of El Bayadh in Algeria.

Stopping the import of all live animals (domestic and wild) like cattle, pigs, sheep and goats, from the region of Khvod in Mongolia and the region of El Bayadh in Algeria into the Albanian territory; stopping the import of meat and products of the above-mentioned animals and milk from the region of Khvod in Mongolia and from the region of El Bayadh in Algeria into the Albanian territory.

The veterinary certificate should guarantee their origin. The measures also consist in stopping the import of animal feeding products that contain products from animal origin; stopping the import of unsterile biological materials from the region of Khvod in Mongolia and the region of El Bayadh in Algeria into the Albanian territory.
